Seriously, buy this skid. Go ahead and compare other skids to this one if you must. They all cost about the same as this one but this one is engineered right. More ground clearance than the stock evap, side protection, leading edge angle, and very heavy duty. Installed very quickly without issues of any kind. Thanks again Spyder.

Best Evap Canister Armor out there	May 11, 2013

I don't know why Jeep chose to put the JK's charcoal canister in such a vulnerable spot or leave it un-protected. Maybe because they make plenty of money selling replacements? Anyhow, for those JK owners who don't feel like damaging theirs and spending good money on a replacement, this armor is the way to go. Unlike some others out there that simply provide what is basically just a shelf for the canister, this one fully wraps it in heavy gauge steel. It took me less than 30 minutes to install it and certainly provides me some peace of mind when going over heavy rocks. At the price it sells for, that's a real inexpensive peace of mind too.

After completely obliterating my evap canister on the trail, I replaced it and decided I needed some better protection. The Poison Spyder JK Evap Skid fit the bill perfectly. I was surprised how heavy duty this was when I opened the box to inspect it. The installation was a breeze. The only hiccup I encountered was the metal canister strap to secure the evap canister in place did not sit flush with the mounting tab on the outside of the skid. However, the bolt was long enough to secure the strap, even with a 1/2" gap. The evap canister isn't going anywhere! Great product, great company, would recommend this to anyone. Thanks PSC!

This is a beast of a skid. Great quality and easy to install. The instruction sent with it where easy and detailed. The whole thing took maybe 30 min to complete. Well Done PSC! I could probably jack the JK up using this skid and not be worried.

Great unit to cover up the Evap. This skid is really heavy duty and allows you to not have to move the evap up next to the exhaust or some other squashed place. Leaving it in place prevents more lights on the dash and keep me out of limp home mode.
