Very simple instal. Sent it for powder coating right out of the box and then opened the paperwork to see the bright paper warning to have it fully installed first. Oops! Didn't matter though because it slid right in place even with the skid. Being from Canada we don't have a lot of choice for inexpensive bumpers. Everyone pretty much has ARB and there are a lot of unoriginal looking JK's in my town. I'm the only guy rocking Poison Spyder and it looks deadly! My only complaint is by the time I pay exchange rate, taxes and Dutys, shipping and painting a $650 Bumper and $250 skid actually become $2100!! I fully plan on purchasing the Brawler 2 rear bumper and tire carrier next followed by your aluminum fenders but I'm gonna need to have it sent to a friend in Seatle and then drive there to instal it:)

This bumper has a great look to it. It is Very well built, and fits very well. Easy to install. I feel much better driving around with this bumper on the front of my jeep, both from the looks factor and mostly from a safety factor. With this bumper you have a beautiful piece of steel protecting your investment.

perfect angles for rock crawling, product was shipped in perfect condition and secure. After powder coating, installation was super easy four bolts and done. the best design feature is that the bolts are welded into the bumper so you literately just put a few locking nuts and your driving off! make sure you add the tow hooks and keep fog-lights a must

I love the bumper! Great design and fit. I did not have to touch the factory crush bar.. very snug fit. The bumper came with a lot of scratches in it, which made prepping the bumper for paint a bit of a pain, but it was all covered up when said and done.. not sure how powder coating would have worked out though.. I'm sure PS would have replaced the bumper but it wasn't necessary for my application.. for this i deducted one star, but i am reluctant because the bumper is bad ass.

You need to work around the front pump, and the rubicon e-disconnect needs to be un-mounted and swiveled out of the way.. And you will have to drill out the driver side upper outer most hole(it's undersized from factory.. The skid plate was annoying  took a specific angle to get the nuts in far enough for the bolts to properly thread in the very tight locations.. 100% satisfied.

After much vapor lock in trying to choose a bumper for my JK, I settled on the Poison Spyder brand. The look was just what I wanted, and the reputation excellent. Out of the box, the instructions were straight forward, and easy to follow. The bumper when shipped well padded, and delivered in mint condition. A thorough exam of the bumper revealed no defects- and excellent craftsmanship.  Fit test was easy- with no problems or adjustments necessary. I look forward to adding other PS products to my JK!

Bumper looks awesome with optional skid plate. Installation took about 2.5 hours, very easy. Instructions for skid plate say some minor trimming of crash bar required, but my bumper and skid plate installed with no trimming. Once again Poison Spyder has developed another great product.
