I thought this install would be done sooner but had issues with the hood hinge bolts not wanting to come out. The install was fine but I want to say step 14 says to hole cut into the back of the hood so you can get those screw in but not to cut more than the first layer. The ones by the hinges need the second layer cut also since the bolt isn’t long enough to reach through the second layer, otherwise took me about 5 hrs, and still could’ve de-burred the edges more. Definitely have another person. Just lucky I have long arms and I’m tall to lift the hood just right. It was my first time cutting also using a dremel and another cutting tool. I’d suggest having a second blade at least for all of the cuts. The only question I have is, what does the hood insulation do that it needs to be reinstalled? Otherwise looks awesome on my JLU Sport! I’d submit photos if I could.
