You’ve got two finish options to match your build:

Raw Aluminum: Great if you plan to customize the color or texture. You can paint, powder-coat, or leave them raw, they won’t rust either way.

SpyderShell™ Armor Coat: A durable semi-gloss black coating made to handle corrosion, UV rays, and anything the trail throws at it. It’s backed by a 1-Year Finish Warranty and a Lifetime Structural Warranty

No, the installation is straightforward and doesn’t require cutting any body panels. You may need to drill a few small holes for hardware, but all instructions and parts are included.

The CNC bead-rolled looks great giving the armor a distinctive motorsports flare, but the beads actually help stiffen the product for further strength, helping the panels hold their shape and resist the vibration over time.

This will be a personal preference as well as a decision made based on your build. Vented will improve airflow through the engine bay, which can help reduce heat buildup.

On the other hand, solid panels will be better if you spend more time in wet, muddy, or dusty terrain or if you don’t plan on tackling any tough-rated trails.

Absolutely, you can choose to paint or powder-coat the raw panels in any color. But you can also leave the armor as-is because it is corrosion-resistant and will hold up to the elements.
