Install couldn't be easier. Template fit perfectly. Align the windshield rubber stops and you're set. Cut out was perfect. Drill the holes, bolt it up and you're in business.

Purchased this product after installing some new stainless headers which were getting it pretty hot under the hood. I'm not a pro when it comes to poking holes in my Jeep's sheet metal, but the template and instructions that came with this product made installation labor intensive (and made me a nervous wreck) but simple. The final product is outstanding, and gets lots of envious comments and stares from some of by Jeeper friends.

Once again, Poison Spyder sets the standard in user-friendly Jeep upgrades. Thanks.

Louver looks great coming out of the box however the template did not match up exactly several of the outside holes were 1/4 to 1/2 inch off causing very difficult installation and now lacks the clean installation look and sadly now out couple hundred dollars and doesn't look clean

I found this product to be packaged very well. It survived the shipping companies and arrived in excellent condition. I found the most important part of this product to be extremely exacting (the template) I have built several off road vehicles of very sizes and types and all most always I have had to drastically massage (metal work,fabricate, massage, and throw away/recreate a new template) do to poor quality control and out sourcing to foreign counties to increas profit margin. Non of this applied to the poison spyder products I have purchased and installed on my JKUR. As a active duty soldier with 19 years of service I found the quality of craftsmanship of PSC products to be commensurate of the quality seen in American produced products 20 years ago. I am extremely happy with the quality, packaging and overall purchase experience of this company. Keep up the good work. I will pay for American made quality over cheap Chinese crap all day long.

Alwsome product. Install directions were great and my only problem was the supplied hardware. I snapped a couple of the bolts and a quick trip up to hardware store I bought enough to replace all with stainless steel. Very pleased with the outcome Poison Spyder products are the best.

Love the Hood louver, a product that is made a knotch above the rest. I was being posted overseas (somewhere in the Caribbean and brought my 2007 JK along. The temperature in the engine compartment appears to be lower, the style is quite agressive. A truly great product ! If only all the nuts and bolts had been shipped with the louver, I would have nothing to complain. Because I had to bring the vehicle to the shipper two days later, I had no time to get the second bag from PS, so spending an additional $47 dollars at my local Home Depot for stainless steal nuts and bolts was a bit of a turn off. But once the louver installed, the look is amazing, the performance is great, I forgot about this additional purchase. I strongly recommend to anyone looking for hood vent without replacing the whole hood, the Poison Spyder JK Hood Louver.

When you order from Poison Spyder you know you are getting what you pay for. The attention to detail with the welding is powder coationg is fenominal. The specs allow the tightest fit possible giving you a clean, sliq look. Install is a easy DIY that can be done in almost any garage.
