With the DIY Rico Step™ Kit you can add a rugged, DOM tube slider and entry step to your home-built or other manufacturer's rocker protectors.  This kit is the correct length to use with CJ-8, LJ, or any application of similar length.  These components are similar to those used in our famous Ricochet Rockers™.  The kit includes the slider tubes, short support tubes, and CNC laser cut gussets and Rico Step with inverted dimples for foot traction.  Kit includes components to do both sides of the Jeep.  We do not recommend welding them to the stock sheetmetal or to steel thinner than 1/8", with 3/16" being the ideal plate thickness to weld them to.  Installation should be performed by a certified welder.
